Start the following prayers and declarations with something like this and adjust these prayers to make them your own:
I cover this prayer in the blood of Jesus and I ask you Lord to activate this prayer inside me as I speak these words out loud from the depths of my heart. Mold my heart to desire everything in this prayer more than anything else! Let these words move heaven for me and activate change in my life.
PRAISE HIM!
(Praise opens the gates of heaven before you begin to petition your requests)
"Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You” (Jer.32:17)
LESS OF ME, MORE OF HIM PRAYER
Repeat these words out loud:
I ask you, Lord Jesus, to enable me to live a life worthy of YOUR call on me and give me the power to accomplish every good thing my faith prompts me to do (2Thes.1:11). And give me more faith that prompts me to do more of my Father’s business—help my unbelief (Mark 9:24). Help me imitate God in everything I do--following the example of Christ (Eph.5:1-2).
Let the words I speak NOT be my own, but from the Holy Spirit who lives in me and does HIS work through me (John 14:10, 24, Luke 21:15). Use me as a modern day disciple and produce YOUR fruit of YOUR SPIRIT within me so that I bring glory to the FATHER (John 15:8). Open my mind to understand the Scripture (Luke 24:45) and let the Scripture be my food so that I can accomplish the work you have for me here (John 4:32,35-36).
Use me as a laborer for the harvest and to ignite revival everywhere I go, resulting in salvations, healings, deliverances and captives set FREE (Matt.9:35-38, John 4:35-36). Stretch out your hand oh Lord, through me, with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of Jesus (Acts 4:30). Oh Lord, help me die to myself more every day (Luke 9:23, John 11:25). Make me become less and less so that YOU become GREATER and GREATER (John 3:30) and are able to give me the Spirit without limit (John 3:34, Esther 1:8) in order to bring the KINGDOM to earth (Luke 10:9).
Enable me to plunder the enemy’s camp, taking back what he has stolen and snatching souls from the fire! (Jude 1:23) Enable me to know Christ and experience the same power that raised him from the dead (Phil.3:10). Let my weaknesses be turned to strength, so that I become strong in battle and put whole armies to flight (Heb.11:34, Psalm 119:71, Gen. 50:20). I ask all of this in Jesus’ name, Amen!
DIE TO SELF: PURGING PRAYER
Pray this out loud:
Holy Spirit come right NOW and help me purge myself from what is dishonorable. Make me a vessel for honorable use. Set me apart as holy. Make me useful to the Master of the house; the house is my body—God’s temple!
Lord, YOU are the Master of my body. Make me ready and prepared for every good work. I submit my will to YOU. I die to my own needs. I die to my own desires. I die to my own insecurities. I submit my body and mind to YOU. I submit my spirit and soul to YOU. I ask YOU to make me become less and less, so that YOU become GREATER AND GREATER.
I invite you into every place of my very being and I ask you to take over every part of my life so that I no longer live, but instead it is YOU who lives in me. Holy Spirit, I GIVE YOU permission to fully have me. I fully submit my will to YOU. I ask you to reach out THROUGH ME and LOVE every person I ever cross paths with. And Lord, use that LOVE to fulfill YOUR GREAT COMMISSION.
Use me as YOUR vessel to snatch souls from the fire, to heal the sick, to cast out demons and to change this world everywhere I go. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
DAILY DECLARATION
Declare this out loud:
I am a Caleb, not a scared spy. I am well able to overcome any obstacle in my life today (Num.13:30). I will praise God, as I rise up like a MIGHTY WARRIOR & put on my armor. I will put on the belt of truth & resist any lie Satan whispers (Eph.6:14). I will put on the breastplate of righteousness (Eph.6:14) by believing what God says in His Word --even if it means believing against the odds. (I am fully convinced that God is able to do what he has promised. That is why my faith is "counted to me as righteousness." Rom.4:21 -22).
On my feet I will slide on the gospel of peace; I will stand FIRMLY against Satan's schemes as he tries to take my peace (Eph.6:15). I will hold up the shield of faith & block anything Satan throws my way (Eph.6:16). I will remind myself of my helmet of salvation (Eph.6:17) & thank Jesus for sacrificing himself to make this possible. One of the many privileges of this beautiful helmet is the authority Jesus has given me over ALL the authority of Satan; nothing will injure me (Luke 10:19).
This authority pretty much makes me invincible -- like David against Goliath, Hezekiah against Sennacherib, & Joshua/Jehoshaphat/Gideon/Asa/etc. against all those VAST ARMIES) So, this morning I will grab at least one sword (Eph.6:17) & put it in my pocket. I will carry this Word all day & when I feel weak I will get it out. I will use it at will & at all costs!
I will apply the final piece of armor by praying for others & praying in the Spirit all day long (Eph.6:18). I will train myself, like a Navy Seal, to take every thought captive & FORCE it to be obedient to God's WORD (2Cor. 10:5). I will REFUSE to budge an inch! I will gain ground today that will NOT be taken back tomorrow. I will move forward & NOT backwards. No weapon formed against me will prevail (Isaiah 54:17)!!! And if I see ashes & not beauty in a situation today, then it must be that God isn't finished with that situation yet (Isaiah 61:3)!
